Abstract

This Notification concerns quality-labelling standards for processed food in Japan. Processed foods are defined as 'foods manufactured or processed' (art. 2). Article 4 covers the method of labelling including names of ingredients and food additives. It consists of 7 articles and 3 tables specifying the said requirements for food placing on the market (including: standards, ingredients, date of production, food additives, weight, etc.). This Notification regulates packaged processed food product
