Abstract

These Regulations concern election in every pyrethrum growing area of members of the Pyrethrum Board of Kenya. The members elected shall represent licensed pyrethrum growers who deliver dry pyrethrum flowers to the Board. Each area listed in the Schedule shall elect one member. The electoral process shall be controlled by a Returning Officer appointed by the Minister. Every person licensed to be a pyrethrum grower during the last three years shall have a voting right. The Secretary of the Board shall keep a register of growers. A candidate shall be a licensed grower in the area to be represented. Other regulations deal with procedures of voting.
