Abstract This Regulation governs the sale and purchase of eggs and eggs’ products, defined as the frozen form, dried form or liquid form of (i) whole egg without the shell, (ii) egg yolk, or (iii) egg albumen, or any combination thereof (sect. 1). It contains provisions, among others, on containers’ marking (sect. 3), on grading (sect. 4) and on duties of operators of egg grading stations (sects. 9-12). The Regulation also contains provisions on the detention of eggs and egg products which can be decided by inspectors and on the preservation and disposal of detained products (sects. 14-19).
