The main function of the Centre shall be to collect, process and analyze water and land resources information in coordination with the relevant government institutions, in support of policy development for sustainable and integrated water and land resources management, and to provide water and land related data and information to the end users. The Center shall be governed by an Inter-Ministerial Coordination Committee, composed of Directors General of national planning; water; agriculture; environment; livestock and disaster management agency. The Center shall have an executive director, who will be appointed by the President of Puntland based on a recommendation from the Committee. Full text Somali
