Restrictions on the slaughtering of animals are provided for in section 3. The Veterinary Officer may approve the slaughtering of animals (sect. 4). A Veterinary Officer may enter and search a slaughter-house or any other premises where he has reason to believe that an offence under this Act has been committed (sect. 7).
