Abstract

This Ordinance provides for measures to regulate the manufacture and marketing of animals compound feed and feedstuff. The Ordinance consists of 23 sections. Feedstuffs or feed ingredients to be used in compound feed are outlined in section 3. Feed Inspection Officers, appointed by the Governement, may grant a licence for the manufacturing of compound feed and feedstuff (sects. 4 and 5). Compound feed and feedstuff shall be packed and labelled following the prescribed standards (sects. 6 and 7). The Government shall appoint Inspectors, which shall exercise the powers and perform the functions provided for in sections 11-16. Offences and penalties are provided for in sections 18 and 19.
