Abstract

The present Order is made under the Farm Products Marketing Act and under the Manitoba Egg and Pullet Producers' Marketing Plan Regulation (Man. Reg. 242/87). In particular, section 3 establishes that each applicant for an allotment of a pullet production quota must be the registered owner or the sole operator of a facility that meets all of the requirements or standards for buildings, equipment, operation, and animal health established by the Board from time to time. The text consists of 61 sections divided into 13 Parts as follows: Interpretation (I); Allocation of quota (II); Pullet production permits (III); Reduction or cancellation of quota (IV); Ownership of quotas and permits (V); Prohibitions (VI); General (VII); Changes in beneficial ownership of registered producers (VIII); Association of registered producers (IX); Re-allotment of quota (X); Retirement and quota reallocation system (XI); Facilities (XII); The plan and non-application (XIII). One Schedule is enclosed.
