Abstract

These Regulations concern the construction and operation of sewerage systems and provides for inspections to protect their functioning and thus public health. The Regulations provide for the protection of water resources by prescribing that there shall be no connection between any potable water supply system and a sewer or appurtenance to a sewer and that no sewer shall be located as to be a contamination hazard to water wells and other water supply sources. The Regulations also cover sewerage treatment procedures and requirements.
