Abstract

These Regulations implement provisions of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, with respect to, among other things: Action to be taken by a competent authority on recommendations by the Authority Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets in relation with persistent or serious breach of the Act or Regulations made under the Act; procedure for transfer of procurement and disposal function; delegation of functions and powers of the Board; procurement and disposal by the Authority; registration of providers; accreditation of alternative public procurement and disposal systems; suspension of providers by the Authority; investigations by the Authority; appeal against suspension with the Disposal of Public Assets Appeals Tribunal.
