Abstract

These Regulations, which apply to public and private water supplies, aim at the protection of water resources of surface and underground waters. The regulations provide for rules concerning: non impairment of quality of water (3); sale of water in tanks (4); water supply systems to be satisfactorily constructed and maintained (5); location of wells (6); sanitary condition of water tanks (7); quality of drinking water, etc. to be prescribed (8); chlorinating machinery (9); testing of chlorinated water (10); notice to desist from contamination of water supply (11); closure of supply (12) and penalties (13).
