Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Public Health Act, make rules relative to the slaughter of sheep, goats or pigs. Except for some exceptions, all animals shall be slaughtered at the Government Abattoir administered by the Department of Agriculture. The Regulations set out the procedure of slaughter and the procedure of inspection of carcases and specify record-keeping duties of the Manager of the abattoir.
