Abstract

These Regulations, composed of eight sections, make provisions and establish procedures for the regulation of pesticide residues in food in Israel. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 prohibits the production, importation and placing on the market, for commercial purposes, any food product that contains pesticide residues unless the quantity of residues is below the allowed one. Section 3 regards composed food products. Section 4 deals with inappropriate food products. Section 5 provides with samples taking procedures. Section 6 relates to sample testing.
