Abstract

These Regulations, composed of three sections, give definitions and make provisions for the regulation of food packages closing in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) establishes that a person shall not comercialise prepacked food, nor shall he produce it, or import it or shall he store it unless in a closed package. The director of the Food Service in the health ministry has the power to classify types of packages to be retained, for these regulations, as closed packages. Section (3) sets entry into force dates for these regulations.
