This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2018.
Abstract

This Regulation, consisting of 70 sections divided into eleven Parts and completed by eight Schedules, aims to protect and promote the public health in Queensland. It prescribes, under section 61(1)(c) of the Act, measures to prevent and control the public health risk mentioned in section 11(1)(b)(viii) of the Act in relation to the public health risks, such as: dispersal, release or disposal of asbestos fibres; regulations on mosquitoes, rats and mice and other public health risks; Part 3 deals with water risk management plans; Part 5 specifies infection control for health care; Part 6 Child health requirements; Part 7 lays down performance of cosmetic procedures on children; Part 8 Health information management; Part 9 specifies Water quality standards, etc.
