Abstract

In these Regulations "nuisance" includes any nuisance specified in the Schedule. It includes accumulation of waste, keeping of animals so as to become hazardous to health, lack of water or a water supply system, a water supply system not properly maintained, the waste of water, the accumulation of stagnant water, excess of vegetation or overgrowth of bush which harbours or is likely to harbour vermin. No person shall cause or permit nuisance on any premises owned or occupied by him (reg. 3). Officials specified in regulation 4 may serve a notice on owners or occupiers of premises requiring to abate nuisance or to implement proposed measures to abate nuisance. Non-compliance with such notice may cause a legal action by the Local Board (reg. 4). (6 regulations and one Schedule)
