Abstract

These Regulations make provision generally for hygienic handling of food, i.e. anything intended for sale, or sold, for human consumption, other than drugs or water. The Regulations set out hygienic standards and provide also for protection of food from contamination. A food business shall be registered with the Senior Environmental Health Officer, who shall issue a licence in respect of such business.
