Abstract

These Regulations amend the Public Health (Food Handling) Regulations, 1998 by, among other things: (a) giving a new definition of “food-handling establishment”; (b) modifying hygienic requirements for food-handling establishments; (c) modifying standards for the storage of food offered to the public; (d) inserting a new regulation on the handling, storage and preservation of high-risk foods; and (e) prescribing requirements for the granting of a Food Handler’s Permit.
