Abstract

This Public Health (Emergency) Declaration, made under the Public Health Act 1997, s 119 (Emergency declarations), declares the public health risk to the ACT community posed by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The area of the public health emergency is for the whole of the Australian Capital Territory.
