Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Public Health Act, provide rules relative to the abattoirs and the slaughtering of animals. No person shall operate as a butcher unless that person has a valid licence, granted by the Local Board. Other provisions of these Regulations concern inspection, keeping of records by butchers, slaughter methods and packaging, marking and transportation of meat.
