Abstract This Act amends the definitions of “building”, “drainage” “sewage” and “urban area” and the definition of “drainage system” is deleted and “sanitation system, treatment plant or central reticulated system” is substituted in Section 1. Moreover, Part 8 is repealed and new Part 8 - Sanitation and Waste Disposal is substituted, including divisions on discharge and disposal of sewage, central reticulated systems and treatment plants, establishment, composition and functions of the Sanitation Board, sanitation in rural and urban areas, sanitation facilities and sanitary devices, approved designs and standards of sanitation systems, licensing of sanitation service providers, prevention of health hazard or nuisance from sanitation system.
