Abstract Section 12 is amended by deleting subsection 6 and by replacing it with 2 new subsections. Subsection 6 provides for the inspection of food by Health Officers. If food, in the opinion of the Health Officer, is unwholesome or unfit for human consumption, the Health Officer shall condemn it and may order the food to be destroyed or disposed. Notwithstanding section 18 (exemption of liability) no proceedings shall be brought against Health Officer for any action taken in accordance with this section (New subsection 6(a)).
