Abstract This Act makes provision with respect to matters of public health in Tanzania including control of (communicable) diseases, water pollution in ports, control of mosquitoes, sanitation, solid, liquid and hazardous waste management, control of gasses, sanitary control and quarantine in ports, sewerage and drainage, food sfatey and hygiene and supply of safe water.
