These Provisions entered into force on 1 January 2004.
Abstract

These Provisions are formulated in accordance of Law of the People's Republic of China on Mineral Resources (art.17) and Measures for Administration on Registration of Mining of Mineral Resources (art.5), aiming to strengthen the administration on mining of gold minerals and protect the mineral resources. Gold minerals may be exploited after having obtained the letter of approval issued by National Development and Reform Commission.
