These Provisions enter into force on 1 January 2006.
Abstract

The purposes of these Provisions are to regulate the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of construction projects and to strengthen the administration of environmental impact assessment of construction projects and the construction of honest and clean administration. Any entity or individual undertaking EIA, technical appraisal, monitoring or investigation work for the acceptance of construction projects shall abide by the codes of conduct provided for in Chapter II. The Environmental Protection Administrative department in the examination and approval of the documents on EIA shall abide by the provisions on Honest and Clean Administration (Chapter III). Chapter IV deals with the supervision and inspection of documents on environmental impact assessment of construction projects.
