The Provisions consist of 17 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions; Archival Filing of Exporters or Agents; Archival Filing of Imported Food Consignee; Supervision and management; Supplementary Provisions. The Provisions govern the archival filing administration of overseas exporters or agents exporting food to mainland China and the imported food consignees within mainland China (hereinafter referred to as exporters and importers, art. 2). The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (“AQSIQ”) shall be in charge of the supervision and administration of the exporters and importers archival filing administration.
