These Provisions entered into force on 30 October 2012.
Abstract

The purpose of these Provisions is to lay down the general principles of carbon emission administration in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and to speed up the transformation of economic development patterns, optimize the allocation of environmental resources, reasonably control the total energy consumption, and promote the continuous decline in carbon emission intensity. The Provisions consist of 10 Articles.
