Abstract The aim of these Regulations is to strengthen the pig slaughtering management, ensure product quality and safety of live pigs, to protect people's health. The Text consists 29 Articles. Designated locations for slaughtering and centralized quarantining system shall be executed on live pigs. The Provisions regulate the location of, and the requirements for live pig slaughters plants (fields). The Provisions further provide for inspection and supervision, offences and penalties.
