Abstract

This Chapter of the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) contains provisions applicable both to drainage districts and to irrigation districts. It specifically provides for organization, sale of lands, transfer of funds; organization of irrigation, drainage or flood control district by owners of lands subject to assessment by district improvement company or improvement district; insurance for district employees; determining legality of organization and proceedings; government loans to irrigation and drainage districts; securities and moneys deposited with county treasurer; relevy of erroneous or void assessments; composition, bankruptcy, refunding agreements; and reorganization and dissolution.
