Abstract

This Provisional Regulation establishes the application of the legislative provisions for quantification, qualification and valuation of environmental damage. It shall be used by the local self-government for the application of environmental fees, dispute settlement and compensation of environmental damage. The following environmental damage caused by the violation of environmental legislation shall be subject to compensation: (a) destruction or damage caused to land, water, vegetable kingdom, mineral resources, animal kingdom and fish stock; (b) unauthorized and unpractical management of natural resources; (c) unauthorized environmental pollution, including uncoordinated mass emission of pollutants and mass discharge thereof, and waste disposal; (d) environmental pollution exceeding the established limits.
