Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Scottish Ministers under section 1 of the Sewerage (Scotland) Act 1968 and section 6 of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980, make provision for determining the points to which Scottish Water must take water supply pipes and public sewers so as to enable connections to be made at a reasonable cost. If taking the pipes or sewers to a connection point exceeds a reasonable cost, then Scottish Water is not required to do carry out such connection.
