Abstract The present Regulations are made under section 37 of the Provincial Parks Act. Section 4 lists a classification system which may be applied to parks, such as, 'wildland park', 'natural heritage reserve', 'historic park', 'natural environment park','outdoor recreational park', 'wayside park', ‘wildlife park'. The text – consisting of 40 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: zoning, occupation of land in parks, designated areas, closing time, issuance of a camp site permit, campsite restrictions, duration of campsite permit, cancellation of privileges, conduct of persons in a park, domestic animals, fires, clean conditions.
