Abstract The present Regulation is made under the Provincial Parks Act (RSA 2000, c.P-35). The Regulation lays down provisions relating to general matters concerning provincial parks. The text – consisting of 50 sections – deals with the following matters: prohibitions (right of quiet and peaceful enjoyment, entry within prescribed period following removal, entry or remaining contrary to restrictions, acts relating to signs, acts relating to big game, feeding of wildlife, waste matter, removal of water, removal of firewood), animals (animal control generally), animals in certain places, rights of conservation officers re animals, animals running at large), fires (general restrictions, use of dead vegetation for fuel, prohibitions to reduce fire hazards), vehicles ( operation of motor vehicles, etc.), camping and day use activities, miscellaneous permits and general permits.
