The present Regulations enter into force on 13 March 2017.
Abstract

The present Regulations are mande under the Provincial Lands Act, 2016. In particular, the Regulations provide for use and ownership of agricultural land in the Province of Saskatchewan. Furthermore, the Regulations address the issue of foreign ownership, sale of provincial land, agricultural leases, leases for oil and gas development or mineral development. The text consists of 8 Parts as follows: Preliminary matters (1); Sale of provincial land (2); Leasing of provincial land (3); Permits, licences, easements and utilization dispositions (4); Cancellation of dispositions (5); Improvements (6); General (7); Repeal, transitional and coming into force (8).
