In particular, it prohibits the marketing of wild fauna. Annexes A and B lay down the list of species which are particularly protected (wild fauna and flora respectively). These provisions cover also wetlands (art. 16). Moreover, the Act regulates mining within the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
