Abstract

This Provincial Act regulates the gathering of truffles, which is permitted only during the periods specified in article 1. The maximum quantity to be collected per day is 1 kg (art. 1, paragraph 2). The authorization referred to in article 2 is compulsory for the collection of truffles. Such authorization shall be granted by the Forestry, Hunting and Fisheries Service, after a previous assessment of the knowlegde of the applicant in matter of truffle species and varieties. Articles 5 and 6 regulate surveillance and penalties respectively.
