Abstract

The wild rabbit is hereby declared protected in Malta. These Regulations establish the conditions under which the capture and shooting of wild rabbit may be carried out. In particular, it shall be prohibited to shoot, capture, kill or take any specimen of wild rabbit without licence issued by the Commissioner and the Wild Birds Regulation Unit. Specific provisions concern the closed season for the shooting and capture, and the methods that shall be allowed.
