Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 27 sections divided into six Parts and completed by one Schedule, implement the Protection of Marine Waters (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act 1987 by providing specifications on record keeping on activities, that may cause pollution, related to oil or other noxious substances, packaged harmful substances and garbage and by defining reporting requirements for discharges of prescribed substances and wastes into marine waters.
