Abstract

In regions where the preservation of forests is necessary in order to prevent a lowering of the timber line, a protection forest area may be proclaimed. In such areas use of the forest other than domestic use is allowed only with the permission of the District Forestry Board (sect. 2). Loss resulting from restriction of extraction rights can be compensated in kind or financially (sect. 4). (15 sections)
