Abstract

This Law may be cited as the Protection and Development of Game and and Wild Birds (Amendment) Act 1991 and shall be read together with the Protection and Development of Wild Birds and Game laws of 1974-1989 (hereinafter referred to as 'basic law'). The basic law and the amending laws may be referred collectively as the Protection and Development of Game and Birds laws of 1974-1991. Article 15 of the Basic Law shall be replaced with the new article establishing that no person may shoot, kill, capture or chasing prey or any wild bird using specific hunting gear and methods, such as: network, lime rod, hooks, loops or electrical devices, or any other similar traps or methods; lamps, mirrors or any other dazzling tools; sniper tools for night hunting, lighting equipment or baits with explosive devices; live birds used as bait, sounds plastic or other methods; any kind of motorized land resources, vessels and aircraft; the method known as 'pantima' or any other similar method or habit; chemical substances, etc.
