Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is to protect water supply areas against hazardous substances resulting from agricultural activities. In particular, the Ordinance aims at preventing ground water pollution in general and in particular pollution resulting from plant protection products. The present Ordinance applies to water protection areas to protect ground water. The text consists of 18 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Provisions on protection, records, monitoring (II); Compensation payments (III); Penalties, transitional provisions and entry into force (IV). Eight Annexes are enclosed.
