Abstract This Regulation contains four sections, and controls procedures for the Minister of the Environment and Local Government ("Minister") to exempt some protected areas, watersheds, aquifer or groundwater recharge areas under paragraph 14.9(b) of the Clean Water Act. It requires that the Minister grant the exemption in writing, with a physical description of the area and the name of the person exempted and that the exemption be filed in the general register of protected areas in the Minister's office (sect. 3.1).
