El Programa Nacional Forestal (PNF) es un instrumento adoptado a partir de un trabajo de integración del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (PND), del Programa Estratégico Forestal para México 2025 (PEF 2025) y del Programa Nacional de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales. El presente PNF se refiere al período 2001-2006 y tiene por objetivo el desarrollo forestal sustentable.
