Abstract

The present Order is made under the Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme and the Natural Products Marketing Act. In particular, the Order lays down provisions relating to compliance requirement on behalf of producers. Section 10 establishes that a producer who fails to comply with the program may have his or her certification cancelled by the Board of Directors of the Commodity Board at the end of the non-compliant producer's growing period. The text – consisting of 16 sections - deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: compliance with programmes, requirements of programs, new producers, audits, withdrawal or termination of certification, written notification of cancellation, prohibitions, costs.
