Abstract

These Regulations amend the Products of Animal Origin (Third Country Imports) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2004 by replacing Schedule 1 which lists the Community instruments that lay down conditions for the importation of products of animal origin from third countries into the Community. These Regulations revise and update the Schedule in order to give effect to Community Instruments that have come into force since the 2004 Regulations were made and in particular Commission Decisions concerning importation of birds in relation with highly pathogenic avian influenza.
