Abstract

This Proclamation declares a state of emergency due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). It activates the Governor’s any and all authority by any and all emergency management, public health and other pertinent laws to issue any and all oral and written directives. The Proclamation also authorizes the Maine Department of health and Human Services to exercise emergency powers.
