Abstract

The Governor-General varies the season in which it is prohibited to kill, wound, take, expose, offer for sale or purchase any of the birds mentioned. The closed season for hunting certain pigeons, doves and quails is now from 1 March until 31 July inclusive of each year. Also the closed season for hunting of or the taking of eggs of coots, whistler and all wild ducks is varied.
