Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Dairy Industry Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to requirements for the issue of licences to processors of cow milk. Section 4 establishes that the Council is the licensing authority referred to in section 7 of the Act for the issuance of a processor licence. The text – consisting of 19 sections – deals with the following aspects: form of licences, term of processor licence, processor licence fee, application, renewal, transfer, application review procedure, refusal to issue or renew a licence.
