Abstract

This Ordinance provides for the conservation of private forests and for the afforestation in certain cases of waste lands in East Pakistan. The 64 sections of the Ordinance are divided into seven Chapters, i.e.: Preliminary (I); Conservation of Private Forests and Afforestation of Waste Lands (II); Rights in Forests (III); Penalties and Procedures (IV); Regional Forest Officers (V); Rules (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).
