Abstract

This Resolution consisting of 5 articles aims at establishing nature reserves within the boundaries indicated in the area of the islands located within the course of the Nile in the north, central and south of the valley, the delta barrages, and the Rosetta and Damietta branches. Article 3 prohibits to carry out actions, behaviors, activities or procedures that would destroy, damage or deteriorate the natural environment, harm wildlife, marine or plant life, or affect their aesthetic level in the aforementioned protected areas (these actions are indicated in detail). The governors of the regions affiliated to the reserves shall make appropriate arrangements for guarding the protected areas.
