Abstract This Resolution consisting of 11 articles lays down the procedures for sampling. The Resolution gives the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) sole responsibility for inspecting on ionized radiations and protection against their risks, as well as control on foodstuffs, import and export food and agricultural commodities and requires customs to adopt GOEIC’s decisions (Article 1) and not take other agencies inspection results. The Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS) must notify GOEIC of standards and technical regulations issued or approved thereby, as well as modifications to be introduced thereto.
